During the SIB-introduction week, the Committee of Social Activities would like to organize a park crawl, since the theme of the introduction week is ‘Post Pandemic World and Energy & Environment’. Around 9% of the food we buy ends up in the trash can. This is around 34 kilograms per person. Not to speak about the percentages of food which end up in the trash of supermarkets. A nice app the CSA uses is the ‘too good to go’ app, in which you can buy food boxes with leftovers from supermarkets and other food stores. The CSA would like to cook you some dinner from these ‘too good to go’ boxes and we will eat this together in several spots in Amsterdam. This will be a 3-course park crawl, so we will cycle to 3 different parks together and enjoy a dish in each park. Who doesn’t want good food & enjoying Amsterdam? Hope to see you there!
