SIB Webinar: Development Goals – Fit for Purpose?

On October 6th at 19:00, we will be hearing from David Sogge about the state of the Development Goals and whether the formulation of these goals allows them to be achieved.

He will go into the politics surrounding the Development Goals, their strengths and weaknesses, and their results: both positive and negative. He will give a presentation, after which there will be time to ask your own questions. David Sogge works as an independent researcher and writer and currently focuses on public control over transnational flows affecting societies on the global periphery. He has written books and articles on the politics of foreign aid, and specifically on Angola and South Africa.
