For May, we invited Mr. James Buttigieg, Chargé d’Affaires, as our speaker to discuss Australia’s Indo-Pacific Strategy and the international security developments. Considering the recent developments, including the Quad and the Australia-China relationship, the guest lecture will discuss the recent developments in Australia’s foreign policy, including the AUKUS trilateral security pact and its security policy in the region.
As the new Australian government marks one year in office, the discussion will further reflect on the new government’s foreign policy priorities, as well as its position in the international security dialogue.
