The Club Guy & Roni group presents the high-energy and poignant dance performance ‘FREEDOM’ which explores human values and emotions related to the concept of freedom, war and self-preservation. This piece is inspired by the life of Mohamedou Ould Slahi, who spent 14 years being detained and interrogated in Guantanamo Bay.

The hosts are currently working with the IND to bring Mohamedou Ould Slahi to the Netherlands. If this is not possible, an online meeting with him will be organised. You will be able to meet someone who has first handedly experienced what ‘freedom’ really means in relation to the hardships he endured.

We will inform you about the meeting with Mr. Slahi as soon as we know the details.
