The Treaty
The Treaty
Chair : Ginerva Abernati
Hi everyone,I’m Ginevra, from Italy, and I’m studying Communication Science at Uva. I love cooking, it’s my go-to stress relief, so during exam season my house usually turns into a small restaurant. I’m also really into movies and, honestly, any kind of media, which I like to consider my professional training for The Treaty.
. I joined SIB last year, mainly for MUNDUNSA because my friends were part of it, and ended up staying for much more. A little later I also joined The Treaty, helping out with socials and layout. I really enjoyed working on it, especially the last issue, where I put a lot of effort into the design. I got so attached to The Treaty that I decided to run for editor-in-chief this. What I’d love for The Treaty is to keep our socials active (go follow us on Instagram!) and make sure the layout really shows off the great articles we publish. I think together we can make something really great.
Do you enjoy writing, reporting, or sharing your perspective on global issues, student life, or cultural topics? Then The Treaty, SIB’s very own magazine, is the perfect place for you!
The Treaty, SIB’s UN newspaper, delivers sharp insights on geopolitics, human rights, and global affairs!
We’re currently looking for motivated students to join the committee and help shape the content, design, and vision of the magazine. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in writing, editing, and publishing, while working alongside a creative and international team.
Not ready to commit to the committee? No problem! You can also submit a single article and see your work published in our next issue. Whether it’s a thoughtful opinion piece, a creative essay, or an interview you’d like to share, we welcome all contributions.
