Looking to make an impact, grow your skills, and connect with inspiring professionals?
The Diplomacy and Development Committee (DDC) is your gateway to combining service, personal growth, and career opportunities within SIB.
As a member, you’ll play a key role in shaping some of our most impactful events — from organising the Geneva trip and Diplomat Drinks, to hosting workshops, embassy visits, and networking galas. These events not only bring the world of diplomacy and international development closer to our members, but also give you the chance to gain valuable experience in event planning, teamwork, and leadership.
Whether you’re curious about diplomacy, passionate about global issues, or simply eager to grow your network, the DDC is the perfect platform to challenge yourself, expand your horizons, and open doors to future opportunities.
As Chair of the Diplomacy & Development Committee, I manage the organisation of our trips, lectures, panels, and embassy visits on diplomacy and international development. With a background in finance in amsterdam and defense in The Hague, I enjoy exploring how global security and economic policy intersect. I’m excited for the year ahead with the DDC and look forward to seeing many of you at our events!
