Hi everyone, I'm Carl and beyond everything else I do in SIB I am the Chair of the bar committee. Interestingly enough I don't drink alcohol but I am still the main bartender. But if you want to have free drinks every second week for barely any work, you can join me in the bar committee!
Join the Bar Committee
As a member of the Bar Committee, you will be responsible for running the bar during events. This includes serving drinks, welcoming members and guests, and making sure that everyone has an enjoyable and relaxed experience!! It is a highly social position that allows you to interact with a wide range of members, while also contributing directly to the atmosphere of SIB gatherings. For anyone who enjoys being part of the action and meeting new people, this committee is the perfect opportunity!
Since alcohol will be served at our events, all committee members are required to pass an exam in order to obtain the necessary certificate for selling alcohol. This is a legal requirement, but there is no need to worry: SIB will fully support you in this process and make sure you are well prepared to pass.
